Recently my work had me travel down to Orange County. It was my first time to Anaheim (yup Im a Cali girl and have never been to Anaheim, go figure). While there, I stayed at the Hyatt Regency Orange County hotel and its beautiful. Lets talk about it.
I rode up from San Diego with Erica Pena-Vest from Entertainment New Media Network and her family along with Jessica Ballard of Begin to Craft. It was a nice drive up the 5 and the closer we got to the hotel, I noticed that it began to look a little whimsical. I asked how close we were to Disneyland and they pointed that it was “right there”. I looked right and I could see that top of the Carsland ride so yeah its very close to Disneyland.
Located in Anaheim, this hotel is filled with elegance. From the waterfall in front of the hotel, to the glass walls that reaches to the sky, to most of your Disney wants and needs taken care of, the Hyatt Regency OC is one that you should consider in your choices when traveling.
One of the things about bloggers, we are never anywhere too long without taking pics and thats exactly what happened in this case. I shared my room with fellow blogger, Jessica, and we both began to snap away taking pics of what our hotel and room looked like. Take a look
This is the view up from the lobby. The hotel has a north and south side. It has 653 rooms total and that includes suites. And yes, there are rooms specifically made for families which I will show you in just a bit.
Oh and for my fellow wine enthusiasts, I give you….the bar LOL
So we traveled up to our room and this is what we saw
This area contains the desk.
And this is a view of the pool from our room
The standard rooms have queen sized beds with down comforters and pillow top mattresses. These beds are extremely comfortable. And it’s also has a 37-inch flat-screen television (cable included), In-room safe, full bath, and a coffeemaker. In the closet is where you will find a iron and ironing board. There is also a iHome® stereo alarm clock with iPod® docking station in your room. Wifi is available for an additional daily fee.
Now the family suites also include a microwave, refrigerator, and additional TV as well as built in bunk beds for those that are bringing their families. Check out these pics
Unfortunately I didn’t get a chance to eat at their restaurants (but we did have a food tasting for the conference. Wonderful. Thank you Chef!) but upon my return in February, I will do a updated post and showing you more of the hotel and the surrounding area.
But I will say, I loved my stay there. The staff was wonderful and the service was the best. See you in February Hyatt Regency Orange County
