Last night, myself and others from the Bay Area Bloggin Mamas group heading down the San Jose for a VIP Preview of the Orchard Park development. These homes, build by the New Home Company, offer a little something for everyone. Lets take a look at them.
Located in the Berryessa neighborhood of San Jose, Orchard Park is near the intersection of Oakland Rd & East Brokaw Rd, just 2 miles east of San Jose International Airport. Across the street is the San Jose Municipal Golf Course. And on Saturday, October 22, 2014 from 10-2pm the public will be able to walk thru and see these beautiful homes.
The complex is composed of the Flats, The Courts and the Towns with 2, 3, and 4 bedroom floor plans. There are 239 single-family attached residences built on nearly 16 acres.
Lets talk about each development
Flats range in size from 1,661-2,147 sq ft, with 2-4 bedrooms and 2-2.5 baths in a sophisticated setting. The properties elevator will take you to your single-story home. The open floor plan as incredible. And each has a covered balcony that you can use all year round. Take a look at my video…I love this space!

Did you see that? Some of the standard appliances are the Kohler kitchen faucet, and the dishwasher, gas range and microwave/hood are provided by Bosch. NICE!
The Courts are situated around a central courtyard with direct garage access and offer 1,690 to 2,243 sq ft with 2-4 bedrooms & 2.5-4.5 baths. Sleek & modern and designed with a Feng Shui master consultant made with the family in mind. These also have a 2 car garage. The 3 bedroom plans also have a den for those, like me, who work from home.
The town home designs offer 1,622 to 2,123 sq ft, with 2-4 bedrooms & 2-3.5 baths. The first floor office is perfect for those working from home. Each home has a 2 car garage and close to the communities outdoor amenities that includes a playground, club house, and walking trails.
Energy efficiency all the way around from the central air conditioning and heating. Landscaping designed for water conservation (which is great considering that California is in the middle of a drought). Spacious walk in closets. Granite countertops in the kitchen and on the islands. Very high end. Very slick. Very chic.
If your in the market for a new home, Orchard Park is something that you DEFINITELY wanna check out.
