If you have been following me on Instagram you would see that I was excited about my new UP24 and I loved counting my steps. But unfortunately, it broke. And so did my replacement one that they (smh) sent to me so I’m looking for a new one. I’m thinking a FitBit. Anyone use it? How do you like it?
And I also joined Planet Fitness. It was the first time that I joined a gym in a while and I love going. My schedule was 3 times a week for at least a hour and the weight was coming off. I loved it.
Then my Mom died in June.
I have never been more depressed in my life. There were several days when I didn’t move. No gym. No working out. No blogging nothing. And I would up gaining some of the weight back. If it wasn’t for my grandkids, I would probably still be somewhere baling my eyes out. They brought me back from the brink and there are no words for how much I love those two.
So as I’m slowly getting back to work and myself, Im getting back to working out. Im back to drinking my 8 glasses of water at a min., and the workouts have begun as well. Im following a workout challenge that have been posted in the Facebook group Femme Fitale Fit Club as well as following the calendar that is set up by Black Women Do Work Out. Both are great groups to follow and support a girl and keeps me on track.
Overall I lost 40 of the 85 that was the goal. Not where I wanted to be but good anyway. But of course we gotta keep it moving. New Year, Same Goal = 85 lbs by Dec 13, 2016
