Sewing Challenge 2013
Oh goodness what have I done LOL
Ok so you guys know that I have gotten back into sewing after a long absence and I’m glad that I have. But now I have decided to really push myself. A sistafriend from my sewing group, Sewn Up, told us about a year long sewing challenge and I have signed up.
*faint*
Sew Your Own Wardrobe for a Year means replacing all your store bought ready to wear with your own creations. Skirts, shirts, pants, everything. And there is a community that has joined their blog and we will be sharing tips, tricks and what we have made with pics and videos. NICE!
*faint again*
Now keep in mind, I have only been sewing again for less than two months. I have made a tote bag, a shirt and leggings for my grand kid. What made me think that I will be able to pull this off?
Faith.
I’m a big girl and there has been times, I can’t find something that I like and that sooooooooo frustrating (guess that can for anyone at any size). So sewing takes care of that issue for me. Buy my patterns, grab some fabric, and get to work.
And as always I will be keeping you guys posted with my creations as well *takes deep breath* I just need to remember that the seam ripper is my friend LOL.
